Resident E Label Night
Marc Acardipane vs. Lady Dana feat. The Ultimate MC When i arrived at the new Bambu at about half past eleven there was already a long que in front of the Location, luckiely we could pass that cue couse of an invitataion from the Bambu Crew. The entrance for the event was incridible low. 9,99Eur and all drinks for free until 1 o´clock or 14,99 and all drinks for free until 3 o´clock. The all drinks inclusive is a new trend in Germany also called “Flatrate Saufen”, of couse fancy drinks licke cocktails are not included and even not all brands of beer only the cheap one, but mix drinks like “Tunnel Energy with Vodka or Cola Vodka are so the only problem you have when you try to get drunk is the waiting time at the busy bars. At about 1 o´clock most people where already at an high alcohol leven, some were a bit stressy but i didn´t see any fights at all. Rod Bolts, Shogun and Fozz 4 were already pushing the Bambu Rave Kids to celebrate. At about 2 Marc Acardipane and his the Ultimate MC, who was dressed up as a doctor arrived. The Ulmtimate MC started to bring his Bambu Kids in extase and they even perofomed a new song, a remix of Dune´s famous rave classic Hardcore Vibes. Usually i don´t like remixes of classics but that one is really nice and its just harder than it´s original from the 90s. At 3o clock the crowd pushed by ultimate MC was already crying for Lady Dana, but a few minutes after she started to play first people ere going on their way home. Dana played a really nice set so the only explanation for that behaivior i could find is that the all inclusive time was over and those people did only came for drinking and not for the music. But the real fans of couse stayed in the Bambu and dancing a lot. I was a bit supprised of the dancing styles about last year when i moved away from Germany most people were not dancing that much but that party it was different, there were more people dancing and all different styles, jumpstyle, hakkeh or even shuffle nice mixed. We wen´t of about six o´clock when Fozz 4 and Shogun were still performing their final set, i made a short interview with the Ultimate MC over the next big Resident E party on December the 1st also in the new Bambu. Review: Loveparade 2007
Loveparade 2007
For the trip to Essen i had to get up a bit earlier than i usually do, my train wen´t of from Amsterdam Centraal about 11:00. The Journy from Amsterdam to Duisburg was really quit at some station i met 3 Dutch Ravers, which were going to Loveparade and gave me some Beer. But in Duisburg the whole situation changed, the Plattform was already full of Loveparade Ravers, i first got one cold Beer and then the chaos started. Together with the three Dutch Ravers i entered the S-Bahn to Essen which was already a bit crowded and full of Ravers everybody drinking screaming and having fun. The Ravers where singing a sang which goes like that “Gib mir ein H ... U ... F ... T ... A, HUFTA HUFTA HUFTA täterää”, i think one of the Dutch guys thought HUFTA must be a Football club so he started to shout “DEVENTER!!”. After a waiting time of 60 minutes in that crowded train, it finally started it´s way to Essen, later some people who wen´t from Dusiburg to Essen by car reported me it took only 15 minutes and they could get a parking place 5 minutes walking from the Parade. At Essen i met some German friends Lydia, the sexy Bar Maid from Tunnel Club Hamburg and Tim from Happyraver.de. We were not able to get Lockerboxes in Essen so we did another 45minutes Train trip to drop our Luggage in Bochum. Finally at about 15:30 we were back in Essen and entered the Loveparade. The Streets in Essen were a little bit too small for that ammount of people and it was hard to get throug them. ty Athmosphear was really amazing. Everybody was dancing and screaming but we hardly could find the Trucks, or LoveFloats, how the love comitee calles them. I met a lot of people on the Loveparade Track, espacially nice German Girls but also some Dutch Angels. Finally we ware able to catch the Tunnel Truck and get on it, Patrick Bunton, DJ Dean and Gary D were already pushing the crowed to the Tunnel Sound. The impression when we crossed the Berliner Platz was amazing, it was completely full of people and you could see everybody is partying. The stage in the center of the place was nice, but it´s nothing against the Siegessäule in Berlin. The Tunnel Truck stopped and i was able to get some beer at the petrol station, and went directly in the crowd of Berliner Platz. The music wasn´t that loud, but the people were that louder, athmosphear was a lot better than in Berlin last year, the music was not my favorite, Westbam played some shitty house tracks and Moby wasn´t there couse the friends of George Bush didn´t allow him to leave the USA. After the parade the people were just slowly moving to Essen Hauptbahnhof, i heard that the policed closed the whole station for some time couse it was too crowded. Finally the Parade was very nice but it couldn´t reach the same level as my favorite LoveParades in Berlin 1999 and 2000. Loveparade Pictures Review: FFWD Dance Parade Rotterdam
Dance Parade Rotterdam
I was going to Rotterdam with 2 friends from Amsterdam by car, we were running a bit late but luckily could catch a parking space near the Erasmusbrug not far Away from the Parade Track. Our first problem was to find some beer there was some Albert Hein supermarket announced but we couldn´t find it. So first one of us decided to get something from a coffeshop and then we wen´t to the parade track. People were in a nice mood but not everybody was partying there were a lot of watching people just looking at the trucks, and there were no extra beer bars at the track you could only buy flavoured crush ice, i got a bit disappointed without beer, but finally we were able to find an Albert Hein supermarket and joined the party again, we spended a lot of time at a nice drum n base truck with some Raving people around. The Parade really made use of its name “Fast Forward” the trucks where really moving forward very fast. Finally we catched the Beter Kom Je Niet hardcore truck which were just before a short street tunnel, a lot of hardcore ravers were following that truck and doing that hakkeh dance. The sound acoustic in the Tunnel was really great. The parade ended early at about eight o´clock at the front of Erasmusbrug. I met some Belgian guys and wen´t them to the after party at Tropicana which was just about 500m Walk along the Maas. The Location of the After party was really nice, i had already been there at Neophyte World Tour the Final. It is in the same building as a tropical swimming hall, i don´t know if it´s still in use but the location has this tropical atmosphere. The beer was payable in cash which is not usable in Holland, and the nice girls at the bar even showed me the disadvantage of cash paying in not giving be back the right amount of money. The party was getting full slowly, upstairs they opened the terror and speecore floor. Party crowd was peaceful and nice, sound system was downstairs was okay, upstairs was a bit to less. There were no food on the party so i decided to get outside to buy some food, but after some people had a problem with me because i am from Hamburg i decided to go back inside hungry and enjoy the party for the rest of the night. With supprise i noticed today that myspace has deleted our account "myspace.com/cyberrave" without any notice or warning.
The account has been a usual myspace account with just one blog entry with the toppic "club raw" and just a small text on it with a link to our url www.CyberRave.eu and actually a lot of friends added, wich was quite a lot work. We could not find any reason why myspace deleted our account and are very pissed of this behavior. We did not send any spam messages uploaded any porn or did other stuff. CyberRave is not the only account that has been deleted, a lot of us bands has been deleted without given reasons, maybe couse of political censorship. For example the gay lesbian Band "Kids on TV"
We highly recommend all artists not to use myspace couse especially hardcore artits with explicit lyrics could also be a victim of it´s censorship, and then your whole promotion network with all your friends is gone. Better invest your time in making a good wep presence than loose it on myspace. Articles about myspace censorship. Showtek – Today is Tomorrow Tour
20070721 – New Bambu Neustadt Holstein. I started the trip to the new Bambu by car with 3 nice German girls, the way to Bambu from my home town was about 130km through Hamburg and a high speed drive with 190km/h on the Bundesautobahn „A1“. In Hamburg we had to stop once couse some of the girls got sick, she just jumped out of the car and spit at a place with was random the house of a famous hardcore producer, but after that and some sleep she regenerated. The Club New Bambu is one of the biggest club discos in northern Germany, located in Neustadt in Holstein next to the Bundesautobahn A1. It s really famous for big rave party's like Marc Acardipanes Resident E, Summer Rave, X-Mas Rave etc. There are 3 areas, the biggest one is called Tropical Hall it has one of the biggest club sound systems of Europe, and a capacity of about 2000 People, on usual open days there is mostly German style party rave & trance music by the Residents Dj Central Seven, Stonie, and Miss N Traxx. On the back of the Tropical Hall is a smaller floor called the Kitchen Club, the sound system is more basic than powerfull and it s always hot in the Kitchen but „DJ SWATBEES“ crew performs where nice ukstyle Drum N Bass and Happy Hardcore there. The Club Floor is located in the lower level on that day there was usual charts and party music and also some nice German songs like „Fettes Brot – Nordish by Nature“ After we approached at the Bambu about 0:30 the prices are very moderate, entree inclusive All you can drink until 3:00h is only 14,99Eur. The girls at the bars are really looking nice but not always the fastest. After i checked in i wen´t to the Tropical Hall meet some people cause i´m going to the Bambu for 7 years now so i always know somebody over there. Dj Central Seven and DJ Stonie were performing a warm-up set for Showtek, Central Seven who is original Dutch but living in Germany for some years now is always talking a lot of dirty German stuff into the mic, that behaviour is typical for Bambu Residents and most people like it „Feierschweine wo seit ihr“. But later he had to shut up cause the Showtek brothers had a special guest with them who was nobody less than MC Ruffian, under his vocals Showtek performed a nice Hardstyle set and People were getting crazy. I got more and more drunken by different drinks as Becks Energy (Beer and Energydrink) or the hard Bambu „Mischen“ Tunnel Energy + Vodka. At about 6 o ´clock we left the Bambu, for a short stay on the Beach of the Baltic Sea which is just a few kilometres away from the Bambu, but because of rain we didn´t stay that long. Sensation Black
Amsterdam Arena 20070714 I decided to go to Amsterdam Arena by Train, at Amsterdam Centraal were already a lot of Black clothed people, i talked to some French girls and boys who were not really able to speak English. Some older Dutch People in the train were making some jokes in Dutch, they told they will go to Sensation Black as well and have some black clothes in their backpack I Arrived at station Bijlmer/ Arena at about 23:30. On the way from station Bilmer Arena to the Stadium there were only black people and a long cue at my entrance. After the usually security checks there were some policemen with a drug dog and everybody had to pass this dog. Check in procedure include que tooked me about 45 minutes. First i had to by some voucher for drinks, they had a special card paying system and i bought a 50eur card, got some beer and then i went inside the Arena. It was already full of black clothed people the dj was playing on a rotating desk in the center of the field on the bottom of a big white tree decorated with something looking a bit like black toilet paper. On the field it was very crowded at that time, sound system was not that loud i decided to check out the location a bit couse the music was not my style at the moment. For drink supply there were „runners“ with beer backpacks on the dance floor. 2 Bars and the usual stadium food supply. Prices were different, Water from 2,20Eur to 2,50Eur. Also the toilets. For the Stadium toilets i had to pay 50cent per Piss, but there were some free container toilets. The music was not as good i expected, more usual old hardstyle stuff and nothing special. It´s not that i don´t likeHardstylebut that kind was bored me really a lot. , some dancers performed a show it was nice but also a bit boring, things like fire blowers and men with glow sticks. And people flying down from the top of the hall with bengal lights. At about 2:00 there was the performance of the unknown live act, „Black Identity“ i really expected a nice show but got totally disappointed. Somebody with a mask who seemed more like a dancer than an artist played standard hardstyle tracks, and where playing on a drumset which had absolutely no effect on the music. It seemed like the guy is just a gogo dancer and there were playing some CD. During a whole knight there was a MC performing, but it seemed like he didn´t had the right connection to the People he did things like on 3 you say „do it“ 1-2-3, a very light do it where shouted by the people, the second time it was even less loud „do it“ and the third time almost nothing. He tried it again later even with no response. The music became better at the second part of the night, when DJ Vince started with a nice Oldschool set, even that was nothing special, but Vince showed that he is one of the best Oldschool DJs. Promo & Outblast played a more up to date Hardcore set until the light were slowly approaching and getting through the glass roof of the Stadium. For the Final live act the hardest act of the evening started to perform at about 6:30 - „Raise your fist for Angerfist“. Most of the Hardstyle People were already gone so there were enough space on the dance for the outraging gabbers. At about 7:00 Angerfist finished they tried to say something but mics where already switched of, so they decided to have a little bath at the water games on the stage and throwing water down to the people. Fact: Sensation Black was a nice party but the people seemed not that enthusiastic the magnetosphere with the black cloth is was special but there were not that much party spirit. The Party was okay but for „Worlds leading dance Event“ it was a lot too less.“ Pictures can be Found: Sensation Black 2007 Pictures 15 Years Rotterdam Records Video
15 Years Rotterdam Records
Location: Outland Rotterdam City: Rotterdam Country: The Netherlands Price 17,50 Eur Artist: DJ Paul DJ Neophyte vs. Panic The Euromasters Live General Noise Live DJ Rob Style: Best of 15 Years Rotterdam Records Sound I arrived at Rotterdam Central Station about 21:30 and already meet some typical closed Rotterdam Gabbers when i lived it to pick up some british friends from there Hotel. At about 23:30 we arrived outland by the Rotterdam Metro system, the voice of the metro speaker reminded me somehow on the Genera Noise Track „Rotterdam Subway“ At the entrance of Outland there was the logo of Rotterdam Records, a mix of the Euromaast and a big dick made of blown up rubber. I checked in and started to explore the location. For the drinks you had to pay with Munten(coins) which you have to buy on a special counter. 1 Munt = 1 Beer or Cola, 2 Munt = 1 Colamix or Red Bull. Toilet was 50cent per piss, which is typical for clubs in Holland. On the Basement Floor there was Newstyle Hardcore in a nice and Dark Enviorment. Artist as Headbeanger aka DJ Weaxweazle and Paul played there. On the Main stage was the Oldschool Rotterdam Records Sound. It has one dance floor in the centre and 2 levels from where you can look down to the dancefloor. The 3rd Area was reserved for VIP, it is on the top of the Building and through the glass couple you have a look around whole Rotterdam, okay it was raining so you could not see much but if it s not raining you have a wonderful view The dancefloor on this level is made of glass so you can look down on the about 10-15m deep dancefloor of the main area. The location got more and more crowded and the atmosphere was getting enthusiastic, couse of that many people there was a little bit too less space to dance but with looking a bit around i could find something and listen to the General Noise Liveact. Highlight of the evening was the Euromasters Live, they performed all there well known hits like „Amsterdam waar lecht dat dan“ or „Alles naar de kloite“. The finish of this evening was made in a powerful 90 minutes Hardcore Battle mix by Neophyte vs. DJ Panic. Fact: Rotterdam Records aniversary was a not too big but very nice event, perfect for lovers of the Rotterdam Records Sound, it was a little bit crowded and too hot but that is usual for Outland Pictures of the Party can be found here: 15 Rotterdam Records Pictures Saturday, June 16. 2007Movie Release - Queensday in Amsterdam

So i arrived at the venue at about 1 o clock, and i had the luck of still getting a ticket. It was a realy huge silo at border of rooterdams port at the Maashaven made to a very cool partyplace with real oldschool athmosphear and not the glitter look like a public disco place. The sound and light system was okay, loud enough with a good quality. I spent the most time on the happy hardcore floor, it was not the uk style of happy hardcore which they play in England more the holland style with legends like Paul Elstak, Bass D and Scott Brown on the decks. The drink prices were fair, Coke 2 eur, Becks Bier 3,80, other Beer was cheaper but i prefered Becks becouse its some kind of "home Beer" for me. For taking a piss you had to pay another 50cents, i don t like to pay for pee but it is realy common on partys in Holland. The partycrowd was relaxed and a lot people from the old school, i think a lot of them had been on their first partys during the 90s. Party ended early at 6:00, i met some crazy people - real gabbers and walked to Rotterdam Centraal with them. It was the first time for me i saw Rotterdam by light, and now i know why Rotterdam is the City of Architecture 2007
