CyberRave – Hardcore Europe

This Saturday it is Time for the Easter Edition of Nightmare Indoor, organizations UDC and Midtown prepared an exclusive event in Rotterdams legendary venue Ahoy,
maybe some easter bunnies will hide inside the crowd but also mr. Nightmare Freddy himself is expected. Keep an eye on the entrance tips and make sure to be there on time.

Entrance lines
We advise you to come early because of possible additional checks by the Rotterdam police at the entrance. In the past the combination of additional checks by the Rotterdam police and many visitors arriving at once led to a longer waiting period outside. This is something the organization only has limited control over.
If more people would arrive earlier, it would be easier and quicker for all to get in. So please take our advice and come to the Ahoy an hour earlier.

Entrance policies
The minimum age is 16 years. You might be asked to show a valid ID at the entrance to proof your age.
To make sure can enjoy the event in a safe manner, body searched will be conducted at the entrance. The organizations follows the zero tolerance policy of Rotterdam. This means that both soft and hard drugs are not allowed during the event. Both the organization and the police will keep a close watch on this during the event.
What to bring & what not to bring You can bring your photo camera. Professional camera’s and video camera’s are not permitted. Deodorant and other similar products are permitted only if they are in the original, sealed container. Aerosol canisters, perfume bottles and so forth are not allowed in Ahoy. People found with drugs and/or weapons will be handed over to local law enforcement.

Lockers
Make sure to bring a warm coat or sweater. When Nightmare is over, it can be chilly outside. You can store these and other valuables in a locker. These are for rent for €5 plus a €6 security deposit. Your locker is accessible all night long.

Coins
Food and drinks are available during the entire event. You can pay for these with the special coins, available at several box offices around the venue. You can pay with cash or pin.

Public transport
Ahoy is easy to reach. From Rotterdam Central Station, take the subway/metro or bus to the Zuidplein stop. The stop is only a five-minute walk from Ahoy.
Tickets are not sold in the subway/metro stations on weekends but you must always have a valid ticket and routine checks are carried out.

How to get there by car
Ahoy is conveniently located near all the major roads. From the Ring Rotterdam-Zuid (A15) take the exit marked Ahoy-Zuidplein and follow the signs to Ahoy.
If you have a Tom Tom or other navigation system in your car, enter: Ahoyweg 10, Rotterdam.

Parking
Ahoy has a large car park and charges €11 for a pass.
You can also use the Zuidplein car park located five minutes away (Zuidplein rates apply) or the various P+R lots, such as those located at the Slinge and Capelsebrug metro stations.
